Project Highlights
The project of Estonia Pavilion, Shanghai Expo 2010 ended with success
2010.12.10
By the end of October, with the closing of Shanghai Expo 2010, Data Indexing's visitor counting project for Estonia Pavilion also achieved a great success. During the service period of 157 days in all, Data Indexing's VCS (Visitor Counting System) product kept constantly stable running, and coped well with the high-density visitors of more than 15,000 on average per day as well as the complicated environments. The product guaranteed the accuracy above 90%, and provided the visitors flow information and reports to our foreign client in a timely and precise way, so it won appreciative comments from the foreign client.

High-Accuracy VCS underwent the onsite test in Shanghai Museum
2010.10.29
During the period from Sep. 14, 2010 to Oct. 22, 2010, Data Indexing conducted an onsite test in Shanghai Museum for its newly researched and developed VCS (Visitor Counting System) of high accuracy. The test system was applied in several galleries: Gallery of Chinese Ancient Bronze, Gallery of Chinese Ancient Sculpture, the First Temporary Gallery, etc.. It overcame a lot of negative factors e.g. dim light, complicated environments, crowded visitors on holidays, etc. and ultimately achieved our expected goal. Meanwhile, we discovered some deficiencies and problems in the test, but after modification and refinement, the system got further improved. In the final evaluation test, the averagecounting accuracy of our system reached 98%, enormously exceeding the accuracy of all other similar products in China and abroad that were tested in the same period. The system proved itself to reach the top level worldwide and was highly appreciated by the musem client.

Data Indexing and TongHua Technology cooperated to develop AB-Door product
2010.3-2010.8
Data Indexing and TongHua Technology (Dalian) reached a cooperation agreement to develop Anti-tailing AB-Door of high security together. During the cooperation, Data Indexing mainly took charge of the development of video-based AB-Door anti-tailing detector which aims to instantly detect the event that two or more people have entered AB doors region, then give out the alarm and inform the AB-Door control system to take appropriate measures.
After nearly 4 months of research and testing, Data Indexing finally reached the client's requirements for high performance and high accuracy (accuracy achieves to be 98%, judge time≤2 seconds) due to its solid skills and abundant experience in the field of video analysis and intelligent detection. By combining the advanced finger vein authentication and AB-Door control technology supported by TongHua Technology, we are now able to provide high-performance and high-security anti-tailing AB-Door for varieties of clients.
